Restless and overwhelmed by an insatiable curiosity, a monkey separated from its group, wandering through unfamiliar terrain. Lost, after days of roaming, it found a water well in the middle of a sea of stones.
It drank from the water, and after quenching its thirst, it carefully observed the turbulence in the water. Gradually, the water calmed, and as it drank, the monkey noticed that the stones seemed to be watching it. Uneasy, it picked up a stick, and when it turned its gaze back to the water, it saw its own reflection staring back.
