My work is diverse and varied, encompassing realistic landscapes, portraits, poetic figuration, and geometric abstraction. I draw inspiration from my surroundings, capturing themes ranging from the syncretism of Western traditions to the daily life of our customs—fishermen, markets, street vendors, and processions—interpreted through a contemporary lens.
I am particularly motivated by scenes observed on the streets or during my travels. Occasionally, my work delves into symbolic themes born from the mind.
My primary mediums are acrylic on canvas and watercolor. To create my final paintings, I rely on studies, charcoal sketches, drawings, and photographs I've collected over the years, all of which come together in the creative process in my studio.
