"My pictorial work is a dialogue between the figuration of human bodies, nature, bird feathers, and the wind. I aim to envelop the viewer in an atmosphere that evokes deep introspection, hiding symbols among the pictorial elements that invite the deciphering of hidden messages. Like many artists, I also use elements that become essential resources for my visual narrative. My goal is to create paintings capable of telling stories, transmitting ideas, and filling them with emotions that spring from the heart and mind. For me, art is my voice, my manifesto, my face in the world. Through my work, I attempt to extract from the depths of my thoughts the concerns, the tenderness, and the musings that compose my existence and my identity. Only through my art can you truly know me, as even I lack a complete understanding of the elements that emerge from my subconscious. Since childhood, I have felt a deep connection with the world of art. I would spend hours drawing action figures, and over time, I expanded my studies and painting techniques, along with other artistic disciplines. My motivation to keep learning and exploring new forms of expression remains intact. Curiosity and wonder guide me in this endless learning process. Currently, I focus on drawing, printmaking, and oil painting, finding balance among these techniques: drawing, which has accompanied me since childhood; printmaking, which captivates me with its qualities; and a love for oil painting and its expressive richness."

“My passion for art was born in my childhood, when I spent hours filling the back pages of my school notebooks with doodles, cartoons, and simple shapes while still in class. Over time, I cultivated skills and a burning desire to bring to life the images that bloomed in my mind on any available surface. Without even realizing it, I found in those lines and colors a source of peace and a driving force that propelled my actions, transforming the way I observed and experienced the world. My close connection with the children of renowned Guatemalan artists introduced me to the world of art and its creators. Every visit to their homes, filled with artwork, seemed magical and wonderful. I dreamed of one day living in a space immersed in art and harmony, and of the possibility of creating works that touched the souls of those who viewed them, just as they had touched mine. In university, I had the privilege of studying under the guidance of teachers who not only shared their knowledge but also fueled my curiosity and nurtured my artistic thinking. Today, I continue to explore the many dimensions of art in all its manifestations. I recognize that artistic wisdom is an endless path, but throughout my life, I am committed to dedicating it to artistic thought. My goal is to express my perception of the world, filtered through my experience and understanding of reality, in the forms and mediums that art allows me. I do not adhere to a specific technique or artistic movement; I prefer to navigate through various expressions, letting the essence of the moment and the fleeting nature of time dictate the form of my artistic expression.”
