What the colors say
Can you hear the voices that our figures sing? Can you see the stories that our colors tell?
We are very excited for the beginning of this Creative Evolution, where twenty nine latin artists consolidate the pioneer community to inspire change in the Art scene in Latin America.
Artenango’s Pioneer Community is an eclectic group, united by a powerful vision. We share the strength that has been building up as a response to the urgent necessity of building bridges that connect and solidify Latin American Art’s presence worldwide.
We welcome you to each artist’s world: whether it be back in time with Bautista’s sceneries, to the present, its places and details worth noticing through Saadeh and Rosito’s work, Zahir and Matias’ contemporary ideas that open reflective doors, the surreal and symbolic windows that Rocío, César, Diego and Eileen open, travel to Joel, Fabian and Manuel’s oniric scenery and protagonists, along with Patricia Betancourt’ and Sechel’s vibrant colors, immediately capturing your eye, Dax, Marlon and Nehemias’ movement and abstractions, Rita, Menchú and Sebastian’s brushstrokes that turn into recognizable figures, together with Juan Ramón’s incomparable and Alexeys unique technique. Meet Camilo Almaraz, Luis Caal, Zanate and Gustavo Bracamonte’s characters, connect with our people through Mario’s work, experience Ada’s sensibility, and fly with Pichiyá.
Each artist is and presents to us their own universe, but at the same time, everyone may recognize our shared humanity in each piece. No amount of words can accurately describe how each of them can be felt or the thoughts they inspire, yet I invite you to discover it yourselves.
Open new doors, breathe the wind that comes through each window, feel the texture, dance with every brushstroke, and experience the sensibility that Latin art brings, transcending the physical realm.
We have created an innovative opportunity guided by community. Our Zeitgeist has revealed a new horizon. Thank you to each Pioneer, thank you, for you are Artenango.
