In this series, my aim is to recreate scenes and compositions from old family photographs, reflecting on the complexities of family dynamics and the intricate relationships within blood-related nuclei in contemporary society. Each individual is explored as an integral part of these connections.
Inspired by the book All the Happy Families by Carlos Fuentes, from which the series takes its name, I delve into the concept of bourgeois family happiness. The work critically examines the human condition, challenging conventional ideals and uncovering deeper truths about familial bonds.
